Summary:
The U.S. Embassy in Rabat is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of the Facility Supply Clerk in the Facility Management Section.
The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (one month) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties
The Facility (FAC) Supply Clerk works under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the acquisition, storage, inventory control and issuance of building maintenance supplies, repair parts and materials for the Facility Management Section. S/he supports FAC maintenance shops by obtaining supplies from General Services Office (GSO), ensuring that the right hand and powered tools, equipment and parts are ordered, stocked, and issued. The incumbent searches local and US markets for best products and alternatives to identify obsolete items and replacement units to support maintenance operations. S/he liaises and negotiates with suppliers, and occasionally handles petty cash. The incumbent organizes the storage and distribution of goods (expendable supplies, equipment, toolkits, etc.). This includes ordering, stock control, and transportation, controls Inventories items for quantities and conditions and reports overstock, shortages, and damages, following established receiving, storing, and issuing methods and procedures, checks items against receiving documents verifying accuracy and inspecting for external damage, requests replacement for damaged items and reports those requiring major repair. The incumbent assures that stock items are properly labeled and placed in proper locations, making best use of available storage space.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
Two years of experience in supply/warehousing/expendables or property management is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Must have thorough knowledge of parts, materials, tools and equipment used in the different trades, to include building materials and their characteristics.
Must have good knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Facility Maintenance operations and procedures.
Must have expert knowledge of warehousing, supply and storekeeping practices.
Must have good knowledge of Safety, Health, and Environmental Management (SHEM) guidelines.
Must have good understanding and knowledge of the operational environment in order to make recommendations on local vendors.
Education Requirements:
High School diploma is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have basic computer skills in MS-Office and data entry.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Must have a valid, current license (class B). Must have had a valid driver's license for a minimum of five (5) years.
Must be able to able to lift a maximum of 51 lbs.(23kg) under Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
